Video of the finished marble:    • Vortex Marble Handmade by Bill Grout 2.16"...   Multiple colors including red and blue are layered and then textured to create a three sided interior wall of dense complexity, while a lone yellow plunge rises into the center. The back side is decorated with raked lines of tan, cobalt blue, and sparkling blue floating over the reflective silver fumed base. Colors used in this build: China Yellow, Cherry Red, Andromeda, Lapis, Black Jet, Silver Strike 5, Dark Cobalt and Unobtanium. The hot glass heats up, glows orange, and is carefully manipulated to create a smooth, round form, highlighting the intricate skills involved in its making. It's truly amazing to see the creation of such a beautiful piece by hand by a skilled artist.
