Video of the finished marble: • Vortex Marble Handmade by Bill Grout 2.17"... A silver fumed sprite twirls up from the core while a tri color twisting cane spirals twice creating the interior wall of this marble. Blue green frit hides in the background against the base of jet black. The back side is decorated with raked lines of dark green, tan, and deep blue floating over the reflective silver fumed base. Colors used in this build: Cherry Red, Purple Lilac, IO Star, Blue Green frit, Jet Black, Silver Strike 5, Dark Green and Deep Blue. The hot glass heats up, glows orange, and is carefully manipulated to create a smooth, round form, highlighting the intricate skills involved in its making. It's truly amazing to see the creation of such a beautiful piece by hand by a skilled artist.
