Brew Day - Strong Ale 3 (advanced, BIAB)
Last year's strong ale included honey and placed third in the state competition. This year I've made only some minor adjustments to the grain bill, but I've split the batch into a honey and a non-honey version. Let's see how it goes! 74.2% Ale Malt 10.3% Munich 6.2% Toffee 6.2% Wheat 2.1% Light Choc 1.0% Caramunich 3 OG 1.080 (crikey!) Simcoe @60 to 54 IBUs 0.9 g/L Willamette @5 0.9 g/L Willamette @-5 Nottingham yeast 250g Honey added to 12L for secondary fermentation. Stay tuned for the tasting video!
