20007, 20205 & 37403 with "The East Anglian Freighter". 27th April 2025

After several delays UK Railtours ran "The East Anglia Freighter" rail tour on 27th April 2025. Locomotives used were 20007 & 20205 paired up with 37403 "Isle of Mull" sandwiching a rake of mostly Mk.2 coaches between. The route and reporting numbers for the day were: 1Z80 - 07:35 Stratford to Lowestoft (via Woodbridge) 1Z82 - 11:21 Lowestoft - Felixstowe Creek R.S. (via Wensum Curve) 1Z84 - 14:17 Felixstowe Creek R.S. - Felixstowe 1Z85 - 15:01 Felixstowe - Claydon 1Z87 - 16:03 Claydon - Southend Victoria 1Z90 - 19:05 Southend Victoria - Stratford although the "Railtour Standard Time" applied from the start. The train left Stratford late and the train never really ran close to scheduled for the remainder of the day. Not that it mattered, the weather was glorious and the motive power excellent.
