Women, in the most developed countries, live in a different time dimensions than men, because they juggle with their job, household choirs and motherly duties. Torn between the desire for procreation, the anxiety of being good mothers, the aim to be professionally successful and financially independent, all they can do is accept other people's timings without laying down their own time and making time for themselves. Valeria Filì proposes her thesis to improve the status of women. Valeria Filì is Full Professor of Labor Law at the University of Udine, where she teacher Labor Law and Social security Law. Born in Udine in 1972, she graduated in Law in 1996 at the University of Trieste and completed her PhD in 2001 about Labor Law at the University of Padua. In 2002 she began her academic career, that progressed up to her becoming tenured professor in 2012.
