Marta Tomasi approaches the topic of migration as a specialist, with a particular focus on recent legislation. She is an associate professor of comparative constitutional law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Trento. She works on the protection of fundamental rights in various fields. In particular, her studies have focused on various forms of vulnerability and on the search for tools to effectively protect and promote the rights of the sick, minors, and migrants. At the Faculty of Law, she teaches courses related to these topics and organizes Legal Clinics on Immigration Law. She also helps coordinate the activities of two legal support centers, dedicated to the homeless (Avvocati per la Solidarietà) and those deprived of personal liberty (Giuristi Dentro). She has collaborated with many Italian universities and conducted research at various academic institutions abroad.
