Judge Corneliu Guzun, former vice-president of the Chisinau Court (Rîșcani seat), was previously heard on February 2, 2026. Following the emergence of new circumstances, Evaluation Panel D decided to continue the hearing in an additional session. The discussions focused on possible unjustified wealth, including clarifications regarding donations received from family members, as well as ethical integrity issues, such as a potential conflict of interest and violations of ethical norms. After the hearing, the Panel will prepare a report that will include the relevant facts, arguments and the recommendation regarding the promotion or non-promotion of the judge within the evaluation process.
