Vettingul judecătorilor: Unde suntem și cât mai durează?

During the “Punctul pe Azi” program on TVR Moldova, Andrei Bivol, the president, and Marcel van de Wetering, the vice president of the Judicial Evaluation Commission, discussed the evolution of the external evaluation process of judges. The dialogue covered the statistical results of the evaluation, the side effects of the reform, as well as the pace of the process, the promotion rate and the mechanisms for challenging decisions. The discussion highlighted the progress made so far, but also the challenges that remain. An essential aspect highlighted: the reform is closely linked to the objectives and conditionalities of the European Union, and the progress achieved directly influences the financial and political support provided to the Republic of Moldova.
