Pharaon de Winter (1849–1924) was a French-Flemish painter known for his distinguished realism and refined technique. Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Lille and later in Paris, he specialized in genre scenes, portraits, and historical subjects. His work is marked by meticulous attention to detail, a subdued palette, and a strong sense of narrative, all hallmarks of academic realism.
