WE DIDN'T EXPECT KELLY SLATER TO SHOW UP

Join us for an epic time in Hawaii as we score on the North Shore and share some fun waves on the West side with Kelly Slater at the Wai Kai wave pool. On the North Shore, we find Betet dialing in his new surf leash, using a classic technique to get out any tangles before going out in the ocean. Then we catch up with da coach Doug Silva, who is applying some F1 inspired technology to the tail of Bronson's surfboard. Called Mink Systems, which help get through bumps and "dirty water" as Doug puts it, assisting in more fluid motion and potential next level performance. Then the crew heads out to Freddyland and scores some excellent waves, with everyone getting lots of good ones. After the surf, they head to Waialua Surf Shop where they catch up with Owl Chapman in his shaping bay, chatting about old photos and sharing some legendary surf history. Later in the Ehukai parking lot before a fun session at Rocky Point, Rizal runs into friend and Pipeline legend Rory Russell and shares some history. Later on the West side, everyone meets up at the Wai Kai wave pool to have some serious fun riding 5'1" boards used just for this particular pool. We got surprised by Kelly who showed up in the middle of the session to join in on the fun and get some waves himself. Chatting in the parking lot afterwards, Kelly, Riz, Doug and the boys have a fun back and forth. Later we celebrate Slater's birthday with everyone and then have a feast at an epic BBQ with Kai Garcia and a big crew of friends and family having the best time.
