WHAT IT'S REALLY LIKE SURFING PIPELINE

Join us in Hawaii (part one) with the whole family for some good times, lots of laughs and some epic surfing at Pipeline. After a 30 hour journey the gang lands in Hawaii and gets picked up by family friend Monte Brem in style and heads straight to the North Shore to get settled in. Catching up with the legendary surf coach Doug Silva as he's waxing up, he shares some wisdom all surfers can use. The boys get their boards ready, riding a range of step ups from 6'0" to 6'4". With boards ready to go the crew sets up on the front lawn to give the waves a study before heading out, while catching up with Peter King, Jett Schilling, Kade Matson, Maikai Burdine and Koa Smith, among others. After some really good sets roll through everyone gets out there to try their luck at one of the heaviest lineups in all of surfing, including young gun Sinar Tandjung, who charges it for his first time ever. After the epic surf, Bronson and Varun drive around the area exploring and checking waves, but first a $100 fill up at the local gas station and a mandatory breakfast/coffee stop at Ted's Bakery. The next morning, with the full moon shining bright down on the Pipeline lineup, the waves are even better, the WSL Pipe Challenger Series event is on, and the boys get out there under the moonlight to get some waves before the contest starts. The swell seemed to fade a little bit by the time Bronson's heat came around, and everyone got some good waves, but the local knowledge of Barron Mimaya and luck of the others in his heat paid off, making for an excellent lesson to come back even stronger in Pipe knowledge next time.
