Video of the finished marble:    • Vortex Marble Handmade by Bill Grout 2.16"...   A swirling field of silver specks fill the core, backed up with gold fumed spots and other subtle effects. A layer of deep blue rubble runs over the reflective gold fumed base. The back side is decorated with raked lines of tan, teal blue and a mystery mix floating over the silver fumed base. Colors used in this build: Andromeda frit, Blue Spruce frit, Dark Cobalt, Butterscotch, Realy Tealy and Aquatic Carnaval. Learning and exploring new ideas for artistic handmade designs in glass is an ongoing journey. I hope you enjoy this video series showing the whole process. The hot glass heats up, glows orange, and is carefully manipulated to create a smooth, round form, highlighting the intricate skills involved in its making. It's truly amazing to see the creation of such a beautiful piece by hand by a skilled artist.
