Video of the finished marble:    • Vortex Marble Handmade by Bill Grout 2.17"...   A central spray of pale green is surrounded by streamers of the same. Deeper in are dark earthy red branches with chunky mica and blue green stones running over a deep cobalt base. The back side is decorated with raked lines of tan, amber purple and sparkling blue floating over the gold fumed base. Colors used in this build: Exp Green #5, Chocolate, Cherry Red, mineral Pink Mica, Blue Green frit, Silver Strike 5, Double Amber and Unobtanium. The hot glass heats up, glows orange, and is carefully manipulated to create a smooth, round form, highlighting the intricate skills involved in its making. It's truly amazing to see the creation of such a beautiful piece by hand by a skilled artist.
