Supercells galore with mega structures! It's starting again. Powerful storms with hail and tornadoes. On May 14, 2025, we started our trip in the Badlands of South Dakota. Our destination was the beautiful state of Nebraska. According to weather models, we were expecting to encounter several supercells, which we could intercept one by one to the south. Tornadoes were also possible under these conditions! So, we did just that. There were several tornado warnings, and one supercell stood out in particular due to its massive structure! After that, we had to say goodbye to a fellow traveler. On May 15, 2025, we continued on towards Illinois. Severe storms were forecast for the day—but did they actually materialize?
