The Entire June 11th, 2026 Tornado Outbreak in Illinois! | Storm Observation VLOG #81

SKYDRAMA.NET | On June 11th, 2026 an outbreak of over 30 tornadoes swept through Illinois, with significant and widespread wind damage also occurring on what will forever be one of the craziest weather days that I have ever covered. The outbreak hit close to home as an EF-1 tornado swept through my hometown of Urbana, Illinois at the end of the day, sending me home in a frenzy to deal with power outages and damage at home. Follow along with me on this wild day from the early morning which started at a hotel in the Quad Cities after several days of storm chasing across the Plains and Midwest. We drifted toward Galesburg and eventually Peoria, following a confluence band that appeared to want to initiate discrete supercells in the open warm sector in an environment that had been priming all day. What followed was something I've never seen before... I've seen tornado outbreaks before, I've seen multiple tornadoes on the ground at once before, but I've never stood between multiple storms that were all producing tornadoes simultaneously, accompanied by significant damaging tornadoes, and twins orbiting each other, and crazy lightning and vivid sky displays and a tornado at home and damage that kept me up into the morning the next days. What, a, day.
