Although all 121 employees evacuated at the time of the fire, one firefighter was taken to the hospital after sustaining injuries, including smoke inhalation, during the suppression process. Fire authorities, having issued a national fire mobilization order around 3:15 PM, are pouring all their efforts into extinguishing the fire. A national fire mobilization order is a measure issued by the Commissioner when it is determined that it is difficult to respond to a disaster using only the firefighting resources of a specific city or province. Approximately 380 personnel and 140 pieces of equipment have been deployed to the scene and are working diligently to extinguish the fire. Although firefighting operations have continued for over 15 hours, the flames are proving difficult to bring under control. The fire, which initially started on the 6th floor, spread up the exterior wall to the 7th floor. Due to the large interior area and the abundance of flammable materials within the logistics center, it appears that suppressing the fire will take a considerable amount of time. The building where the fire broke out is an eight-story reinforced concrete structure with a total floor area of ​​approximately 300,000 square meters. In particular, as household goods and other items inside the warehouse burned, black smoke filled the building, making it difficult for firefighters to maintain visibility. A fire official stated, "We have established fire containment lines in several locations within the building and are using excavators and forklifts to clear obstacles." The specific point of origin and the cause of the fire have not yet been determined.
