The Good Doctor Ep 04- Wahan, Woh, Aisa Waisa

When it comes to sex-education, it’s shame over science all the way. So how can provide young people with the knowledge they need to prevent them easily curable infections? In Episode 4- Wahan, Woh, Aisa, Waisa we meet a young girl with a UTI thanks to the stigma attached to menstrual care and unpack how we all internalise bodily shame and sexual stigma. The Good Doctor is a new six part video series made in collaboration with Centre for Enquiry into Health and Allied Teams (CEHAT), a Mumbai based feminist organisation which interfaces between people’s movements, health systems and academia. The series asks a simple yet important question “Who is a Good Doctor?” and explores it through six stories that touch on themes of sexual and mental health, adolescent SRHR, contraception and violence against women.
