The Good Doctor EP 05 Pati, Patni aur patriarchy

Can a doctor’s treatment be the best it can be without empathy, care and support? Episode 5- Pati, Patni aur Patriarchy encounters a victim of domestic abuse - and asks searching questions about a doctor’s care recognising both, the body and its context. The Good Doctor is a new six part video series made in collaboration with Centre for Enquiry into Health and Allied Teams (CEHAT), a Mumbai based feminist organisation which interfaces between people’s movements, health systems and academia. The series asks a simple yet important question “Who is a Good Doctor?” and explores it through six stories that touch on themes of sexual and mental health, adolescent SRHR, contraception and violence against women.
