Can doctors be infected by patriarchy - and what does that mean for how they ‘treat’ patients? In Episode 6- Dimmag Dekho Dil Se, the story of an adult woman who is seeking mental health care becomes a less in the need for a gender-informed lens in medical practice. The Good Doctor is a new six part video series made in collaboration with Centre for Enquiry into Health and Allied Teams (CEHAT), a Mumbai based feminist organisation which interfaces between people’s movements, health systems and academia. The series asks a simple yet important question “Who is a Good Doctor?” and explores it through six stories that touch on themes of sexual and mental health, adolescent SRHR, contraception and violence against women.
