The Good Doctor EP 01 Marz, Mareez, Majboori

How do gender identity and socio-economic background of a patient affect their access to medical resources and health-care? Episode 1- Marz, Mareez, Majboori highlights this very issue through the story of a TB patient. The Good Doctor is a new six part video series made in collaboration with Centre for Enquiry into Health and Allied Teams (CEHAT), a Mumbai based feminist organisation which interfaces between people’s movements, health systems and academia. The series asks a simple yet important question “Who is a Good Doctor?” and explores it through six stories that touch on themes of sexual and mental health, adolescent SRHR, contraception and violence against women.
