Macarena tells us how losing the fear of being yourself can lead you to fulfill your dreams and work in the artistic field. She began her career at age 10 in the Televisa telenovela "Amor Bravío," and later gained recognition for her role in the Imagen Televisión telenovela "Muy Padr3s." Her first leading roles came in the teen telenovelas "Like, La Leyenda" and "Los Elegidos, Una Familia Poderosa." Her career took off thanks to the success of Telemundo's "100 Días Para Enamorarnos," where she played a transgender character that won over audiences. In 2020, she starred in the Netflix original series "Control Z," playing Natalia Alexander, which became one of the platform's most-watched series during its three seasons. In 2022, she starred in the telenovela "Mi Secreto," playing Valeria Bernal. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
