In celebration of July Ignatian Month and the closing of the landmark Ignatian Year, Jesuit Communications Foundation and Radyo Katipunan 87.9 FM present: "Raw and Candid: Philippine Jesuit History as told by Jesuit Legends"; a series of never-before-seen interviews with legendary pillars of the Philippine Jesuit Province as they speak about the history of the Jesuits in the Philippines. For our pilot episode, we are featuring Rev. Fr. Miguel Anselmo Bernad, SJ. He entered the Society of Jesus on June 7, 1932, and was ordained a priest on March 24, 1946. A contemporary of the great Fr. Horacio de la Costa, SJ, Bernad was a prolific author, a respected historian, and a beloved teacher. He passed away on March 15, 2009.
