Thousand Buddha, Bhedetar

Perched above Dharan, Bhedetar is about to get a world-record attraction: a 150-foot "Thousands Big Buddha" statue—12 meters taller than Hong Kong's famous Big Buddha. The project just cleared a major hurdle with its detailed report for a Buddhist Study Center, and the statue is set to rise on Chhotimorang Hill.
