Dhumba Lake

We are currently at Dhumba Lake in Mustang District. This lake lies 5.5 kilometers south of Jomsom — and as you know, Jomsom is famous for its winds. Syang village sits just to the west of the lake, while Thini village is perched just above. To elaborate further, Nilgiri Mountain plays a key role in the lake's formation. Situated at an elevation of 2,830 meters above sea level, the lake measures 150 metres in length and 100 metres in width. So amazing is this lake that it feels like a hidden gem — locals likely helped the fish thrive here, and today, tourists from all over the world come to enjoy its peacefulness. However, those who arrive early in the morning are rewarded with the most serene and calm views of all. So if you ever make it here — welcome to Jomsom, and when you do come, take the time to experience this magic for yourself. Dhumba Lake is one place you simply shouldn't miss. 👇 PLEASE SUBSCRIBE, COMMENT & SHARE YOUR FEEDBACK! 🙏 Your support means the world to us.
