Building Bigger & BIGGER Brushless Motors Using Lego
Pick up your own Bambu Lab A1 here: http://shrsl.com/2qhlq-2yn7-1cwx9 Just how fast and how powerful can we make motors out of Lego? Brushless motors are a fantastic means of driving a very fast, and potentially very powerful motor. Lego inventions are generally limited to Lego motors, which tend not to draw more than around 10-15 watts. But with our own homemade solutions, we can push this much higher! So in this video, we’ll create larger and larger magnetic rotors, and use thicker and thicker coils to drive them. In theory, we can create some super powerful motors - more powerful than Lego can typically handle. And we’ll experiment with some metal gears and axles to translate this power into usable power that doesn’t destroy our Lego parts.
