Lego Air Engine Powering a Generator!
Pick up your own Bambu Lab A1 here: http://shrsl.com/2qhlq-2yn7-1cwx9 #bambulab #makerworld #bambustudio #bambulaba1 Let's turn some regular Lego engine cylinders into a real working engine powered by air! The beauty of this design is that once one cylinder works, you can add more and more of them together to create larger engines with greater torques. So today, we'll add more and more cylinders until we get to a V8 Lego engine powered by air! We'll also test out the performance of these engines by turning it into a generator. Then we can assess if these engines are outputting some usable electrical energy for low powered devices. For the engine parts, I designed pieces that fit Lego perfectly, and can be 3D printed. I developed two different valve designs that perform best at different speeds and torques. If you'd like to print these pieces for yourself, you can find my designs here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1623029 https://makerworld.com/en/models/1623072 Links for parts I used: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000UKUHXK https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B099DYKDLL https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07FJQR8DT Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/user?u=122597865 See my latest experiments and behind-the-scenes footage!
