Making the FASTEST Lego Air-Powered Engines!
Today, let’s push Lego pneumatics as hard as we can. I’ve been refining my designs for 3D printed parts that augment Lego, turning standard Lego engine cylinders into real working engines, powered by air. My latest designs result in engines that run at many thousands of cycles per minute at pressures that standard Lego pneumatics run at. So in this video, we’ll create a few different engine configurations - testing 1-cylinder, 2-cylinder, and 4-cylinder engines. And to use their power, we’ll spin them to a high RPM, and then transmit the power via a clutch to a generator to see how much electrical energy we can extract. Let’s see what speeds we can get!
