Most people are told their pelvic floor is weak, however weak does not always mean lax. You can have a tight pelvic floor and a weak pelvic floor. However, the treatment for a tight pelvic floor is far different than for a lax pelvic floor. In this video, I walk you through one of my ways to help the pelvic floor release: a deep supported squat with intentional pelvic floor relaxation and deep diaphragmatic breathing.
