When a Race Doesn’t go to Plan | Full Race Day Behind the Scenes | Episode 18 British Milers Club GP
This episode captures the entire race-day experience at the British Milers Club 3000m — a day where things didn’t go to plan. After a tough 5000m the week before in Portugal, I was hoping for a stronger showing in Loughborough. But the heat was tough, my body felt flat, and I got it totally wrong tactically. In the days that followed, it all started to make sense: I got sick, strained my calf, and missed valuable training time. Even our videographer Keith tested positive for COVID after the trip — so there’s a real chance I was carrying something into the race. The video shows everything leading up to the race — the prep, and mindset — with the race itself at the very end. I’ve now had to hit the reset button and, unfortunately, I’ll miss Morton Games this year. 📍 Follow the journey here: 📸 Instagram – https://www.instagram.com/theirishham... 🎽 Bounce Running – https://www.instagram.com/bounce_runn... 📊 Strava – https://strava.app.link/YUdnMLWq5Tb
