Those affected are demanding that the value agreed upon in their contracts be respected. Another group is asking banks to maintain the payment rate of Bs 6.96 for clients with loans in effect before the change in the exchange rate system, arguing that the currency devaluation is making mortgages and consumer loans unpayable.
