Fishing the Des Plaines River for Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, and other Species
Although the DPR is quite low right now, I decided to do some wading anyways and see if anything was biting. While I did have to move around quite a bit to find the fish, I was able to successfully land some pike and smallies as well as a couple other species. All fish were caught on a 4" paddle tail jig on a 1/8 oz jighead.
