Barnaby can experience up to 100 seizures daily, posing constant safety challenges for his parents, Charlotte and Keiran Clip courtesy of BBC South Today 26 March 2026 Barnaby was healthy at birth, but began showing unusual eye movements at five weeks, followed by severe seizures at eight weeks. After being diagnosed with infantile spasms, a form of epilepsy that begins within the first years of life, he started medication and improved briefly before his seizures returned six months later, causing loss of muscle tone and previously acquired skills.
