Cessna 177B Cardinal Scenic Flight | CNV8 to Georgian Bay & Waubaushene

On this flight, I joined as a passenger aboard a Cessna 177B Cardinal from the Borden Flying Club (C-GPDW) departing Edenvale Aerodrome (CNV8) Our initial objective was to overfly the Lewis Pit in Springwater to see whether any visible dust plumes could be observed from the air. With light winds around 6 knots, gusting to 8 knots, conditions were not favourable for plume formation and none were visible during our observation. After completing two Turns Around a Point, we continued the flight as a scenic tour north toward Georgian Bay, passing near Huronia Airport (CYEE), Waubaushene and the surrounding shoreline before returning to CNV8. Enjoy the beautiful Ontario scenery from the right seat of the Cardinal.
