Great Glen Way - Day 3 - Drumnadrochit to Invermoriston

Join us for Day 3 of our Great Glen Way adventure! Today, we leave our campsite in Drumnadrochit and set our sights on Invermoriston. It's a solid 14-mile trek through mixed Highland weather—one minute we’re layering up for squalls, and the next we're peeling off waterproofs in the sun! The trail today treats us to some of the most anticipated views of the trip. After navigating through thick forest cover that teased us with glimpses of water, we finally reach the high route. The climb is a "steep pull," but it's worth every bit of effort when the scale of Loch Ness finally opens up before us. From breathtaking viewpoints to hidden waterfalls and the final descent into Invermoriston, this day was a true highlight of the trail.
