SHOW DETAILS Show: Masala Mornings | Dosti Kay Rang Host: Shireen Anwar Guest: Kanwal Date: 17 April 2026 Channel: Masala TV RECIPES FEATURED SILKEN CLUCK HANDI: INGREDIENTS: Chicken with bone 500gm Onion 2 Ginger garlic paste 1 ½ tbsp Yogurt 1 cup Turmeric ½ tsp Green Chilli chopped 5to 7 Cumin ground 1 tbsp Lemon juice 1tbsp Butter 3 tbsp Chicken powder 1 tsp Salt to taste Oil as required Cream as required Ginger Julien for garnish Coriander for garnish METHOD: • First, grind the onion. • Then heat oil and butter in a wok. • Add the onion and sauté it. • Next, add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2–3 minutes. • Then add the chicken and mix everything until the chicken changes color. • In a bowl, add yogurt, chopped green chilies, turmeric, lemon juice, chicken powder, salt, cumin, and cream. Mix everything well. • Now add this mixture to the chicken and cook until the chicken is fully cooked and the oil comes to the top. • Finally, add the remaining cream and garnish with butter, coriander, and julienned garlic KUNAFA CRÈME AND BERRE DORE SHOTS FOR BASE: Kunafa dough : Melted butter 2 tbsp Chopped Almonds 2 tbsp FOR CHEESECAKE LAYER: Cream cheese 1/2 tub clotted cream 3/4 cup whipped cream 1 cup vanilla essence Few drops Condense milk (according to taste, to make sweeten) COMPOTE LAYER: Strawberries cooked with Sugar, lemon juice, little water until becomes soft, chunky and slightly thick FOR TOPPING: Melted chocolate as required Chopped Pistachio as required Roasted kunafa dough as required Strawberry compote as required Pistachio paste as required METHOD: In a pan, add butter, kunafa dough, and chopped almonds. Sauté everything until it becomes golden brown. In a bowl, add cream cheese, clotted cream, whipped cream, condensed milk, and vanilla essence. Beat everything well until smooth. Assembling: In a short glass, first add a layer of roasted kunafa then add a layer of cream mixture, add pistachio paste put again add another layer of cream mixture. Then add strawberry compote.
