SHOW DETAILS Show: Masala Mornings | Dosti Kay Rang Host: Shireen Anwar Guest: Tasneem Mapara Date: 15 April 2026 Channel: Masala TV RECIPES FEATURED • Arabian Matbakh Ingredients Beef mince ½ kg Chopped onions 3 pieces Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp Green chili pastes 1 tbsp Turmeric ½ tsp Ground coriander 1 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves handful Chopped mint leaves handful Garam masala 1 tbsp Oil as required Flour ½ kg Clarified butter 2–3 tbsp Salt as required Eggs as required Ground black pepper 1 tsp Chopped ginger 1 small piece TASNEEM MAPARA Method 1. Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic, ginger paste, green chili paste, turmeric, and ground coriander. 2. Add the mince and cook on high heat until all the water dries and the meat is tender. 3. Let it cool, then mix in chopped onions, ginger, mint, coriander leaves, and garam masala thoroughly. 4. For the dough, take flour in a bowl, add salt, ghee, and a little oil, and knead well. Prepare small dough balls and set aside for a while. 5. Roll out the dough, place the mince in the center, whisk eggs with salt and black pepper, pour over the mince, fold, and seal from all sides. 6. Heat a griddle and fry the Matbakh until crispy and golden. Serve hot. •Fish Cutlets in Tomato Sauce Ingredients Fish (any type) ½ kg Boiled potatoes 3 pieces Salt 1 tsp Black pepper 1 tsp Green chilies 4–6 pieces Garlic cloves 3–4 pieces Coriander leaves½ bunch Lemon juice 1 tbsp Boiled tomatoes (puree) ½ to 1 cup Red chili powder 1 tbsp Chili garlic sauce 2 tbsp Soy sauce 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp Potato slices (fried) 1 piece Potato slices (fried) 1 piece Onion slices (rings) 1 piece Capsicum slices (rings)1 piece Oil as required Bread crumbs for coating Eggs for frying Method Boil the fish with salt, black pepper, garlic cloves, and green chilies in a little water. If using fish with bones, remove the bones. Mash the boiled potatoes, add the cooked fish, seasoning, chopped coriander, chopped green chilies, and lemon juice. Mix well and shape into cutlets. Dip the cutlets in beaten eggs and shallow fry until golden. Fry the potato slices, capsicum, and onion rings, then place them on top of the cutlets. For the sauce, mix all sauces with tomato puree, add seasoning, and pour over the cutlets. In a pan, add oil and cook the cutlets with the sauce, onion, potato, and capsicum on low heat (dum) until heated through.
