Woodturning a jig or chuck for making scrapwood coasters
This is my third video making coasters. This one is all about making it easier to hold them... I usually hot glue a false tenon on the coaster blanks before I turn them. With this method I make a jig or chuck to hold the blank so i can cut a recess in the underside of the coaster. I normally stick scrap wood together but you can use a piece of solid wood. Ask any questions if you are interested or if I've not made myself clear. I hope you enjoy the video and drop me a like. The music in the video is by my son Jacob For contact @ultrawoody1968 Please feel free to use my ideas but please work safely.
