woodturning a segmented box
This is a longitudinal segmented box, that is to say its not made from small segments but long strips of trapezoidal walnut. These strips have been glued together with a piece of tulip in each joint, making a pleasing effect. I 'll also add tulip top an bottom of the centre piece with a walnut foot and lid.
