Returning Home: Photography in the North of Ireland
Hello there folks and how is it going? Welcome back to another video! In this week's video, we are starting a brand new photography adventure in my beautiful home country of Ireland. I am assisting my good friend @BrendanvanSon with a photography workshop, and I am absolutely thrilled to have the chance to travel around the island and show our group just how wonderful this place truly is. This is the first of a three-part series. We kick off our journey in Northern Ireland, visiting the iconic Dark Hedges, the dramatic cliffs of Ballintoy Harbour, and catching a spectacular sunrise over the basalt columns of the Giant's Causeway. I've only visited this specific part of the world a handful of times, and only once before to take photos — well before I ever started making videos here on YouTube. It feels incredible to return with fresh eyes and a cinematic lens to capture the unique light of the Irish Atlantic coast. Classic landscape photography, rugged seascapes, and unpredictable Irish weather all await you. In this video: → The Giant's Causeway: Scouting and framing a classic Irish sunrise → Ballintoy Harbour: Capturing the wild energy of the coastal tides → The Dark Hedges: Tips for working with scale, light, and geometry in the trees → Workshop Life: A behind-the-scenes look at guiding passionate photographers through Ireland 📸 FOLLOW THE FULL JOURNEY I'll be posting daily vlogs across the entire workshop. Subscribe and follow the playlist so you don't miss the journey through Northern Ireland and beyond. 👉 Ireland Workshop Playlist: [INSERT PLAYLIST LINK] 🌍 JOIN THE NEXT IRELAND PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP This vlog series follows the route that inspired my upcoming Ireland: The Wild Atlantic Way workshop — a 10-day small-group expedition.
