Finding Stillness at the Edge of the Atlantic

Hello folks! How’s it going? I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your Wednesday! In this week’s wander through Northern Spain, we’ve arrived at a location I have had earmarked for quite some time: Loiba, and the famous El banco más bonito del mundo (The most beautiful bench in the world). As a photographer, it’s rare that a location exceeds your expectations, but the scale of these cliffs and the wildness of the Atlantic here is truly something else. I spent the afternoon playing with different exposure times to capture that "rolling sea" texture, and even delved into some black and white work to really hone in on the epic nature of the landscape. It’s everything I look for in a location: the intersection of raw nature and a quiet moment to sit and witness it. Northern Spain has been a beautiful chase of light, coast, and adventure so far.
