Epic Storm & Golden Light: The Ultimate Spain Finale!

Hello folks! How’s it going? I hope you're all doing well and enjoying your Wednesday! As our Northern Spain vanlife adventure draws to a close, we randomly picked a place to anchor down just outside of Bilbao. We had no idea we were about to stumble into an absolute hidden gem: Castro Urdiales. From a photography point of view, this place has so much going on—most notably a spectacular castle and medieval cathedral sitting right on the water's edge. But on this particular evening, the weather gave us a parting gift of pure magic: a massive, epic storm breaking right as the beautiful golden light cracked through. It is incredibly rare to photograph conditions like this. Despite getting absolutely soaking wet, Orla and I stuck it out across the harbor to capture the drama unfolding over the sea. I am so thrilled with these final images and couldn't have asked for a better way to end our time on the north coast of Spain. Onwards we go, my friends!
