This is just one set out of 4. Had to speed things up with the stacking of the weights in the first part but the other sets had all the weights already set up to make life easier. Growing leg muscle is no different from upper body muscle. The other part is the aftereffects of a leg workout. As the legs are a big muscle group, DOMS will hit hard and a good leg day will make it hard to walk for days. To build your calf muscles, lift a barbell and hold it against your thighs, or hold a dumbbell in each hand with your arms hanging straight down at your sides.
