Finding Peace in Acadia National Park

Checking out the Quiet Side of Acadia National Park East Bound Adventures of Mom, Dad, Girl, and a Little White Dog Day 6: We decide to focus on the hikes over here on the quieter side of Acadia National Park and end up climbing Acadia Mountain! There were definitely some areas where you were using all four “paws” to climb down the “trail”! 🤣 Lots of fun! Alexis especially loved climbing up and down the Rocky parts, but as soon as we neared the end of the trail on flat ground - she pooped out! 😅🤣 Alexis just lays completely flat in the middle of the trail. I think if we were rock climbing the whole way she would’ve been fine. 😜 Lobster #3 🦞🦞🦞 from Beal’s Lobster Pier was a fun little spot right on the pier! All the lobsters are right in the front so you can pick out which one you’d like. I must admit that although fun to see them all up close, it’s also a little sad knowing their fate. 😞 After dinner, we head over to Bass Harbor Light Station. It’s hard to get a good view of the lighthouse from the Rocky side which is also the iconic photographed side, but luckily you can also view it up close. I can’t help but chuckle a little as we approach the lighthouse as it’s quite short - not what you expect from the typical lighthouse! As I wait for folks to clear the scene so I can get a picture, I notice many others giggle out loud when they first see the lighthouse and see how short it is. 😜😂 One last little walk along the Seawall beach area before the mosquitos get too bad…… In this video we will summit Acadia Mountain Try another delicious fresh Maine lobster and check out the iconic Bass Harbor Head Light station ~ all at Acadia National Park! #vanlife #nationalpark Music from #Uppbeat https://uppbeat.io/t/studiokolomna/ad...
