Add water and begin kneading, adding more water and kneading until the water is gone. Then continue kneading until the dough is soft but firm, with the consistency of Play-Doh. If necessary, you can add a little more water. We prepare a piece of plastic wrap and coat it with oil. We start by forming a ball with the dough that fits in the palm of our hand. We place the ball in the plastic wrap, fold the plastic wrap over the ball, and flatten it with our hand until it's thin but not too thin. We open the plastic wrap, place a tablespoon of filling on top of the dough, a little bit of margarine or butter, and with the help of the plastic wrap, we cover the filling with the dough. Then, we shape it into a half-moon shape using a container (glass, jar, or whatever you want to use as a mold). We open the plastic wrap, remove the excess dough, and our empanada is ready to fry. Fry in hot oil, but not too hot, so that it doesn't burn on the outside and remain raw on the inside. Remove from the oil when it's golden brown and ready to enjoy.
