Whole Grain Sourdough Einkorn English Muffins 6 cups whole grain einkorn flour(I use fresh milled) 480grams 1 ½ cups water 1 cup active sourdough starter Mix together flour, water and starter; let sit for 8-12 hours or overnight. Add in - 3 tbsp honey 2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp salt Mix well. Heat up 2 iron skillets on your stovetop on medium heat. Grease with 1 tbsp of fat, I like to use lard but coconut oil, tallow, or olive oil will work also. Scoop dough into the skillets using a large stainless steel scoop. Turn the temperature down to low or medium low and cook 4-5 minutes on each side until nice and browned. If the English muffins aren't cooked in the middle, pop them in the oven on 300 for 5-10 minutes.
