Use headphones for the full immersive experience. 3D Binaural Recording. 4K SOUNDSCAPE I'm spending a week up in Scotlands Inner Hebrides on the beautiful Isle of Skye to explore everything this stunning landscape has to offer. The Isle is famous for its rugged mountainous terrain and I set myself a goal of recording some mountain water sounds from the Isle of Skye as the first recording. Even in late September there are still quite a lot of people at the more popular spots but its not hard to get away from the crowds and be the only person for miles around. I avoided the nearby Fairy Pools (a famous cascade of small waterfalls) but noticed a similar cascade of water flowing down a nearby mountain. No one was around so I decided to make the hike up the mountain and follow the cascading water as far as I could. The result is this recording. As I ascended the mountain, the cascading water scenery just became more impressive. I eventually found myself at the foot of Sgùrr na Banachdaich just as the sun began to set behind some nearby mountains. The relaxing water sounds can be used for meditation, relaxation and sleep.
