Ribbe in April? In Norway, it's actually a classic Christmas dish. But I made it anyway. 😄 Ribbe is crispy pork belly. With salt. Lots of time. And in the end: a really good crunch. I'll show you my simple version: 🥓 Score the pork belly 🧂 Salt it generously ❄️ Let it marinate in the refrigerator for 2-3 days 🔥 Cook it slowly in the oven 💥 Grill the crackling until crispy at the end It's usually served with sauerkraut, Brussels sprouts, potatoes, sausages, or brown gravy. And yes: Of course, the rendered fat is saved. You can use it for roasting later. What do you think?
