Os vendedores que "moram" por um mês no circuito do Carnaval de Salvador

On the eve of Salvador's Carnival, street vendors set up camps along the Barra/Ondina circuit to secure a sales space in a highly sought-after and lucrative area. Over the days, people from other cities or neighboring districts arrive, settling into plastic tents or improvised beach chairs used as mattresses. "It's like Big Brother here," says one of the vendors, referring to the competition for the best slice of space in one of the Carnival circuits.
