On the outskirts of Salvador, a housing complex exclusively for domestic workers challenges a logic that has changed the course of history for millions of Brazilians. After living for years in their employers' homes, in back rooms, or without access to their own housing, women are discovering (many of them after the age of 50) the meaning of owning a home and the joys of everyday achievements, such as the right to have an aquarium and a sofa. In this video, we delve into the daily life of the Conjunto Habitacional 27 de Abril, the first and only housing complex created for domestic workers, which brings together stories that are repeated in each unit.
