The four planning offices submitted their designs for the new Carolabrücke bridge on May 26 and presented them to the advisory committee for the first time. Guiding principle of the Schüßler-Plan and DKFS designs: The new Carolabrücke bridge is conceived not only as infrastructure, but also as an elegant urban element in the Elbe Valley – a new piece of public urban space.
